2011: Establishment & Strategic Positioning
Hangzhou Qimei was officially founded in Hangzhou City in 2011, embarking on its entrepreneurial journey in precision machinery. At that time, China’s manufacturing industry was in a transition period from large-scale expansion to quality upgrading, with an increasingly urgent market demand for high-precision cutting equipment. Traditional equipment, however, generally suffered from pain points such as insufficient precision and low efficiency. Accurately capturing this industry need, Hangzhou Qimei established its core development positioning: “Focus on high-precision, high-quality industrial machinery and equipment,” integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales, and services. It took the lead in entering niche segments including tape cutting machines, roll to sheet cutting machines, slitting machines, rewinding machine and feeding machines etc.

2012: Product Layout & Technological Optimization
Driven by a dedication to technological research, Hangzhou Qimei quickly completed its product portfolio. In 2012, the company launched a series of key models, such as multi-angle tape cutting machines, bevel cutting machines, and copper foil cutting machines. These products covered diverse industries including luggage, electronics, clothing, and auto/motorcycle parts, enabling precise cutting of materials like webbing, metal sheets, and insulating paper. To ensure product quality, the company learned from international advanced manufacturing experience, optimized mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, and gradually built a comprehensive production system.
